The Art of Duplicity is everything you could want out of a hidden speakeasy. It requires commitment to get in and every part of this experience will make you feel completely transported back to the prohibition era. And you’ll have to work for it.
There are rules to keep it hidden, and we don’t want to spoil the mystery for anyone. Make a reservation online, listen to their rules and instructions and don’t feel scared. Unless you break the rules. World class bartending, even better theatrics. Just trust us; if you are in Capetown, this is a must.
Dirty Laundry
St. Petersburg Florida
In the vibrant eclectic energy of Downtown St. Petersburg, it’s not surprising to find a hidden gem full of options. A charming coffee shop, tasty handheld Sammys, and masterful drinks all tucked inside this timeless laundromat.
Make sure you do some research to determine your passcode and bring some coins to call-in for entry. This bar has something for everyone; we all got some dirty laundry to air out.

Asheville, North Carolina
We have determined that what makes a speakeasy fantastic is its ability to immerse you in an entirely different reality. Tiki Easy does exactly that. Go around back from Asheville’s Hi-Wire Brewing Co. and feel your world transform in an exotic tropical rainforest.
Trust that your favorite cocktail will crafted to perfection at this epic paradise. Your taste is not the only sensory part of this experience: thunderstorms have been known to pass through, and the tropics often come with their own surprises. An unsung hero of the Asheville Cocktail scene.
Ghost Baby
Cincinnati, Ohio
As Cincinnati is our home, we have to pay homage to one of the coolest local spots. I mean, just look at that manifesto. Taking advantage of the old city train tunnels, Ghost Baby is a blast from the past as you descend into a swanky prohibition era jazz club. Reservations are a must as they are booked full most nights of the week, but worth the wait as the cocktails.
The energy of this bar will wake up all of your senses as you descend beneath Cincinnati. Soak up the curated intimate vibes surrounded by soothing notes of live jazz as you sip on their signature drink with a fun surprise from it’s special spice. This is so much more than just a bar.

These pictures were taken before the overwhelming shame of being SO underdressed in such an elevated establishment. Our camper van/dirtbag attire was not conducive to prepare us aesthetically for this level of class.
We wish we had pictures of our fantastic drinks and the eclectic environment, but this one you will just have to see for yourself. We can’t do it all for you. Do yourselves your a favor and don’t come straight from the trails.
